There's no drive through in my kitchen..

Hi, I'm Taryn and I am a coffeeholic. I am a java junkie. I could barely force myself into the office without an iced latte in hand. I would even use my morning break to go grab a cup if I managed to make it into the office without caffeine. Well, here's another thing that the pandemic forced upon us that nobody was expecting to deal with! Who's making my espresso with cinnamon and honey? Not Mr. Folgers, bless his heart.

Whelp I decided to do something about it! I started online shopping of course! Not looking to spend an unreasonable amount I found an espresso maker on sale and guys I had Kohls Cash! For just the price of about 3 flavored lattes from my favorite coffee shop I have my own Espresso machine complete with a milk steamer! I was elated. I am the in house barista! Bring your own syrup though because currently there's only Caramel. That's because my boyfriend secretly loves a nice latte just as much as I do.

It might only be august but I am looking forward to fall drinks. I don't even like pumpkin spice but I sure will try to make it!

My everyday coffee is simple honey, ground cinnamon & coconut milk.

I love iced coffee and this is a basic iced latte.

Brew it

I put my honey in the cup first and add cinnamon so I can pour the hot coffee in and mix it up nice

Fill with ice and coconut milk - or just the milk. I didn't steam the milk this time but it does come together beautifully either way.

This cup might not look instagram worthy but it was a gift from my aunt. I love the quote and the fact that it is a huge mug.
